What is the WGMC?
The Will Grundy Medical Clinic provides free medical and dental services to individuals who do not have health insurance or the ability to pay for quality health care.
Caring health care professionals from the community volunteer a portion of their precious time to help treat
those in need.
How are we funded?
As the area's only FREE clinic, WGMC relies entirely on volunteers and donations. Doctors, dentists, nurses, and technicians donate their time. Pharmaceutical companies donate much needed prescriptions and supplies.
Community leaders, businesses and organizations provide financial assistance. And, volunteers help any way they can.
Why is the Clinic important?
Our community needs a health care clinic for those who cannot pay for medical services. Without a free clinic, uninsured patients go to Emergency Rooms where their care is subsidized by hospitals, resulting in higher
health care costs.
How to apply for patient status?
In keeping with the vision of its founders to provide comprehensive medical care, individuals must meet eligibility requirements and apply for patient status. The clinic must also be able to access medical volunteers, who can provide appropriate services for the patient. (See the Patient Eligibility form).
